My friend unwrapped a Toy’s R Us gift and look at what the lucky guy got!

Here’s my doggie looking at me while i take the pics. Isn’t he cute?

Christmas day is just 3 days away! Let’s see, so far, I’ve attended 4 Christmas parties, wrapped a few gifts, given out some of the gifts, received lots (blessings!) and I’m almost completely recovered from my cold. Yipee! To top it off, lookie see what I got over the weekend!

Fresh Strawberries from Bagio!

Fresh cut flowers

How are your Christmas preparations coming along?

Can you guess which movie was filmed at that church?

Here are some more pictures of the view from Fashion Mall in Hollywood.

The last time I walked the famous Hollywood Blvd. was about 20 years ago! I still have my first picture in front of the Chinese Theater in a yellowing photo album at home. It was an interesting experience walking the same street again. The area is as festive as I remember it before. There were some performers as well people in costume walking around for people who want to take photos with them.

The 4th of July was a fun experience for me in Vegas. I walked around Fremont Street with all it’s shops and restaurants offering food for the celebration. The main highlight for me was watching a couple of lively lights shows projected on the barrel vault canopy which runs about 4 blocks long!

Since it was the 4th of July, they played a lot of “American” music which the lights/images are choreographed to. One of the songs played that night was “Bye Bye American Pie” by the Beatles. I thought that it would be fun (and perhaps more appropriate?! haha..) to use “American Boy” given to me by some friends for this trip for this video instead.  Enjoy!

It was 106 degrees outside and you wonder if what you are seeing is a mirage. Out of the flat, dry desert, you see a whole city bustling with activity where every hotel holds a surprise.

The earth is composed of water (2/3) and land and the article below simply shows us there’s still so much about the earth we don’t know - we don’t even need to travel deep. Enjoy the pictures and article below.  (Article and photos from telegraph.co.uk)

Looking like giant leaves floating in the sea thousands of Golden Rays are seen here gathering off the coast of Mexico.

The spectacular scene was captured as the magnificent creatures made one of their biannual mass migrations to more agreeable waters.

Gliding silently beneath the waves they turned vast areas of blue water to gold off the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Sandra Critelli, an amateur photographer, stumbled across the phenomenon while looking for whale sharks.
