Because it’s the New Year, what are your most anticipated games for 2009? Most of the games on my list are available for the PS3, since I have that console.

Star Craft 2: No exact date when the game will be released, but is expected to be released this year. I hope this game will run with my ancient PC.

Tekken 6 Bloodline rebellion: Character balance, new stages and new characters, can’t wait to have a console version. Release date in on Oct 09.

Here’s a trailer of Capcom’s latest crossover fighting game, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes. The game is already released for the Wii console but still no word if it would be having an English version.

Here’s the latest trailer of Tekken 6 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The video shows Jin Kazama riding a motorcycle and being chased by Kazuya’s henchmen. Jin and Kazuya face each other in the end and destroy almost everything in their area.

New characters, Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Bosconovitch are also introduced in the video.

Good news to those who play King of Fighters 2002 and owns a PS2, there will be a remake of the game that will be released on February 2009; it’s called KOF 2002 Unlimited Match.

Aside from new features, the game will have exclusive characters like Nameless (clone of Kyo and K), Heidern, Kasumi Todoh, Jhun Hoon and more. Because of the exclusive characters added, new teams were created like the Master team, consisting of Heidern, Takuma Sakazaki and Chin Gentsai. Thanks to Kotaku for the picture.

Here’s a combo video of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360. The combos shown are really, really hard and aren’t possible with the original SSF2T game. Most of the combos were started with a flying cross-over kick, then a ground combo, followed by a super move.

I got this info from Kotaku, basing on the picture, it seems that characters from Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha were added, but I was hoping that Dee Jay and Guy would be included.

The characters on top should be Fei Long, Cammy, Akuma and Gouken. The next 8 are the original world warriors of SF2. Near the timer could be Seth (SF4 Boss), then the 4 Bosses of SF2. Next are the new characters; Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus and El Fuerte. Lastly are the SF Alpha characters, Sakura, Rose, Dan and Gen.

Get ready for Naruto because he is back on the Wii system with Naruto Shippuuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX3. Play as Naruto as he defends Konoha against the vicious Akatsuki.

Choose from the 35 characters available as you battle it out with others players in versus mode. Game’s release date is on November 27, 2008 in Japan.

Since the release of Gundam Seed: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. Portable, there were no other PSP Gundam game that gave a big impact. But it will change because Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam is coming.

Kidou Senshi Gundam by Bandai Namco is their newest 3D fighting game that comprises of Gundam robots from the oldest anime to the newest including Gundam Seed Destiny and Gundam 00. Up to 4 players can play in versus mode via Ad Hoc for a Gundam battle royale. No news if there will be an English version, but did this stop us from playing Gundam games?
